On July 1, 2025, the business journal "Kursiv Uzbekistan" hosted a high-profile conference in InterContinental Tashkent, focusing on the evolution and opportunities of Uzbekistan’s capital market.

Among the keynote speakers was Anvar Rasulev, Founder of Ansher Capital and Chairman of the Board of Ansher Investments LLP.

In his remarks, he stated:

“Investor interest in Uzbekistan has grown significantly. While they used to enter the market cautiously and on a local scale, today we are seeing large-scale initiatives — the creation of ecosystems that bring together marketplaces, banks, and fintech services. Investors are increasingly willing to take risks independently, without the need for co-financing.”

Mr. Rasulev also highlighted that Uzbekistan offers favorable conditions for business development, including an attractive tax regime, strong demand for Eurobonds, and rising interest from international lenders.

“Uzbekistan is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for lending. While equity investment is still relatively limited, the M&A segment is thriving — international companies are entering the market by acquiring existing businesses,” he added.
