Ulugbek Makhmudov is a Member of the Board of Directors at Ansher Investments LLP, where he is responsible for commodity trading. He previously served as a Managing Director in Investment Banking, specializing in Islamic Finance. Mr. Makhmudov joined the Investment Banking team of Ansher Capital in September 2019.

Prior to joinig to Ansher Capital, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Association of Uzbek Food Reserve (”Uzbekoziqovqatzahira”) and was responsible for investment activities and investor relations.

Previously Mr. Makhmudov worked in JSC “Uzneftegazmash” as a chief specialist and in JSC “General Motors Uzbekistan” as a specialist of planning and marketing at the logistic department from 2013 to 2016.

Ulugbek holds MSc (Hons) Degree from Kings College London (UK).

Mr. Makhmudov is fluent in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
